El Sangermeño

  I was born on September 26, 1967 at the Concepcion's Hospital in San German Puerto Rico.  My parents are Juan Dámaso Torres Sanabria (RIP) and Claribell Ramos Linares (RIP).   I only have one brother named Adan Torres Ramos.  I studied in San Germán growing up.  I studied in the Colegio San Jose (Kinder Garden only), Antonia Martinez Elementary School, Julio Victor Guzman Junior High, and Lola R de Tio High School from which I graduated in 1985.  That same year I decided to continue my studies and was accepted to continue my studies in the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico (Poly), Recinto de San German.  I graduated in May 1989 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting receiving Magna Cum Laude honors.  Due to a lot of discourages and lack of employment in Puerto Rico, I decided to join the US Army in July 1990 and served until October 2000 when I was discharged honorably as a Staff Sergeant.  In 1994, I married Alida J. Torres from Brooklyn New York and with her we have procreated two beautiful kids, Alida Damaris and Juan Rene, who are my pride and joy.  In 2003, I started to work for the Civil Service for the U.S Army.  Now days, I still working for the U.S. Army and reside in Killeen, Texas with my family, but I always carry my town San German and my island of Puerto Rico in the bottom of my heart.
